Understand workflows for registration requests

Who can apply for a training course and for whom?
The platform offers a front office catalogue with management of registration requests for training dedicated to learners and managers.
A learner can make a request for themselves while a manager can make both a request for themselves and for their team members.
What workflow should I apply for a training request?
Workflows are set up at the time of the Xperience platform configuration workshop. It is possible to set up up to 4 validation steps.
What happens when the application is validated?
If the registration request is for a non-session course or a course for which the requested session is full, then the registration is automatically converted to a pending registration.
The training department will then have to create a new session and register this user.
If the registration request concerns a session training where there is still space available, this request will be transformed into an automatically validated registration.
It will then be up to the training department not to forget to process the registration file (with OPCO funding, etc.).
Understand the action of Register/Unregister
Open My Profile > Catalogue
The objective is for an employee or manager to be alerted by an email of the availability of a new training session on a training course in order to register for it afterwards.
How it works/Registration terms
Action available on training, EXCEPT in the context of self-service or anonymous access.
Sending a summary email to the user.
Notification to set up and activate: Alert: New training sessions available for wishes.
Have the right to register – related privilege: Subscribe to alerts of new sessions.
How it works/How to unregister
Action available in case a registration exists on a course.
Automatic unregistration of the user when a registration is carried out if a configuration has been set up.
Apply for non-catalogue registration
Open My Profile > Catalogue
If you have authorised your employee or manager to make a request outside the catalogue, then they will have access to a special form to make their request.
Search for training via the catalogue.
If their search is unsuccessful, then they will have access to this page with the Make an out-of-catalogue request button. They will be able to click on this button and fill out a form, which will follow a particular validation workflow.
