Article summary

Jobs are groups used to classify users according to their position within the company.

Each job is defined by:

  • Its name

  • Its description

  • Its domain

  • Its parent

  • Its code: an identifier assigned to the job

  • Its manager

  • Its type: it can be a family, a profession, a job or a position

  • Its nature: it may be current, provisional or obsolete

  • Its related jobs

  • Its alias: an element enabling a link to be made between a job and skills

  • Its objectives

  • Its context

  • Its access conditions

  • Its responsabilities


View job description

  1. From the side menu, open the Directory.

  2. In the Groups section, click on Jobs.

    The job repository is displayed.

  3. If you know the location of the job you wish to modify, select it directly from the tree on the left.

    Otherwise, you can find it using the search bar above the tree.

    The job form opens.


Create a job

Procedure

  1. From the side menu, open the Directory.

  2. In the Groups section, click on Jobs.

    The job repository is displayed.

  3. If you know the location of the job you wish to modify, select it directly from the tree on the left.

    Otherwise, you can find it using the search bar above the tree.

    The job form opens.

  4. (Optional) To create a tree structure, select the element you wish to be the parent from the list on the left. You'll find this information in the “Parent” field.

  5. Click on Add .

  6. Complete the job information:

    The job name is mandatory.

    The fields Description, Objectives, Context, Access conditions and Responsibilities are free-entry fields. They can be completed in French or English.

    The Type, Nature and Alias fields are drop-down lists from which you can select the appropriate item.

    The Parent, Manager and Related jobs fields are search fields which you can use to link your new job to elements of the platform.

    The Domain field is completed by default with the root domain of your entreprise.

  7. Once you've completed the information, click Save.

    A confirmation message appears on the screen.


Modify job information

Prerequisites

  • The job must exist.

Procedure

  1. From the side menu, open the Directory.

  2. In the Groups section, click on Jobs.

    The job repository is displayed.

  3. If you know the location of the job you wish to modify, select it directly from the tree on the left.

    Otherwise, you can find it using the search bar above the tree.

    The job form opens.

  4. Make any necessary changes.

  5. Click on Save.

    A confirmation message appears on the screen.


Delete a job

Prerequisites

  • The job must exist.

Procedure

  1. From the side menu, open the Directory.

  2. In the Groups section, click on Jobs.

    The job repository is displayed.

  3. If you know the location of the job you wish to modify, select it directly from the tree on the left.

    Otherwise, you can find it using the search bar above the tree.

    The job form opens.

  4. Click on Delete.

    A confirmation window opens.

  5. Click on Yes to confirm deletion.

    A confirmation message appears on the screen.


Job skills profile

Add a skill

Prerequisites

  • Skill must exist.

Procedure

  1. From the side menu, open the Directory.

  2. In the Groups section, click on Jobs.

    The job repository is displayed.

  3. If you know the location of the job you wish to modify, select it directly from the tree on the left.

    Otherwise, you can find it using the search bar above the tree.

    The job form opens.

  4. Open the Skills tab at the top of the form.

    A list of skills and their level of proficiency is displayed.

  5. Click on  Add a skill.

    A list of all skills created on the platform is displayed. Skills already assigned to the job appear at the top of the list, along with their level of proficiency.

  6. Select the desired skill.

    You can search for skills directly using the search bar, or filter them by selecting their field on the left.

  7. Select the expected level of proficiency.

  8. Click on Save.

    You are redirected to the list of available skills.

    A confirmation message appears on the screen.


Modify a skill level

Procedure

  1. From the side menu, open the Directory.

  2. In the Groups section, click on Jobs.

    The job repository is displayed.

  3. If you know the location of the job you wish to modify, select it directly from the tree on the left.

    Otherwise, you can find it using the search bar above the tree.

    The job form opens.

  4. Open the Skills tab at the top of the form.

    A list of skills and their level of proficiency is displayed.

  5. Click on the skill you wish to modify.

    The skill level page opens.

  6. Select the new skill level.

  7. Click on Save.

    A confirmation message appears on the screen.


Delete a skill

Procedure

  1. From the side menu, open the Directory.

  2. In the Groups section, click on Jobs.

    The job repository is displayed.

  3. If you know the location of the job you wish to modify, select it directly from the tree on the left.

    Otherwise, you can find it using the search bar above the tree.

    The job form opens.

  4. Open the Skills tab at the top of the form.

    A list of skills and their level of proficiency is displayed.

  5. Click on the icon to the right of the skill you wish to delete.

    A confirmation window opens.

  6. Click on Yes to confirm deletion.

    The skill disappears.

    A confirmation message appears on the screen.


Employees with a job

Consult the list of employees

Procedure

  1. From the side menu, open the Directory.

  2. In the Groups section, click on Jobs.

    The job repository is displayed.

  3. If you know the location of the job you wish to modify, select it directly from the tree on the left.

    Otherwise, you can find it using the search bar above the tree.

    The job form opens.

  4. Open the Employees tab at the top of the form.

    The list of employees with this job is displayed.

    You can search for an employee using the search bar and click on their name to view their details.


Add an employee

  1. From the side menu, open the Directory.

  2. In the Groups section, click on Jobs.

    The job repository is displayed.

  3. If you know the location of the job you wish to modify, select it directly from the tree on the left.

    Otherwise, you can find it using the search bar above the tree.

    The job form opens.

  4. Open the Employees tab at the top of the form.

    The list of employees with this job is displayed.

    You can search for an employee using the search bar and click on their name to view their details.

  5. Click on Add .

    The list of all users present on the platform is displayed.

  6. Select the desired user by using the search bar.

  7. Click on to the right of the user's name.

    A confirmation message appears on the screen.


Delete an employee

  1. From the side menu, open the Directory.

  2. In the Groups section, click on Jobs.

    The job repository is displayed.

  3. If you know the location of the job you wish to modify, select it directly from the tree on the left.

    Otherwise, you can find it using the search bar above the tree.

    The job form opens.

  4. Open the Employees tab at the top of the form.

    The list of employees with this job is displayed.

    You can search for an employee using the search bar and click on their name to view their details.

  5. Click on the icon to the right of the employee you wish to delete.

    A confirmation window opens.

  6. Click on Yes to confirm the deletion.

    The skill disappears.

    A confirmation message appears on the screen.
