You can import your organization’s various professions and skills and connect them with the company's HRIS tools. Skill lists and skill levels are fully customizable from the Users tab in the back office.
You can import their associations and modulate the different skill levels (there are 4 by default, but as many as they wish can be added and named).
Associations of positions, skills, content, etc. are managed from the Users tab, with the option of importing files (Excel, csv, etc.).
Create skill levels
To create an entity, open the administration page and click on Users in the left-hand menu.
Click on the Skills tab.
In the Skills box, add a skill level in the text bar and click on Create.
The new skill level is added after the existing levels.
Translate a skill
By default, skills are added in US-English. But it is possible to translate them once they have been created:
On the skill level to be translated, click on the
To translate automatically, click on the Translate missing fields button.
You can also enter a manual translation for each of the available languages.
Delete a skill level
To delete a skill level, click on the button for the skill concerned.
Import new skills
Once skill levels have been created, new skills can be added. This is done by importing an Excel file. First retrieve the import template, complete it, and then re-import it via the interface.
Download the new skills import template
Open the administration page and click on Users in the left-hand menu.
Click on the Skills tab.
In the Skills insert, click on the Download button. A drop-down menu appears, divided into several sections:
Skills:
Download all: Generates a file containing the import template already pre-filled with all the skills already in the platform.
Download template: Generates a file containing only a blank skill import template.
User / skills associations:
Download all: Generates a file containing the import template already pre-filled with all associations between users and skills already existing in the platform.
Download template: Generates a file containing only a blank association import template.
Users certified skills:
Download all: Generates a file containing the import template already pre-filled with all the certified skills already in the platform.
Download template: Generates a file containing only a blank certified skills import template.
4. Click on Download template in the Skills section. This takes you to the template file generation page. When the generation status changes to Successful, the file can be downloaded by clicking on the Download button.
The template file consists of 3 tabs:
Hierarchy: Defines the hierarchy of skills (parent/child link). This tab contains the following columns:

Skills: Allows you to define the titles and descriptions of each skill, for each level, in all platform languages. This tab consists of the following columns:

CatalogItem: Allows you to associate catalog items with associated skills and skill levels.

Once the file has been downloaded, complete it before importing the new skills.
Import new skills
When the import file is ready, open the skills management page to proceed with the import.
Click on the Excel Import button.
Select Import skills.
Select the local file and confirm.
Associate users with skills
Once all skills have been created and associated with catalog objects, it is now possible to associate them with users. You'll need to download the import template for these associations, fill it in and import it back into Bealink.
Download the user/skill association import template
Open the administration page and click on Users in the left-hand menu.
Click on the Skills tab.
In the Skills box, click on the Download button.
Click on Download template in the User / Skills Associations section. This takes you to the template file generation page. When the generation status changes to Successful, download the file by clicking on the Download button.
The template file consists of the following columns:

Once the file has been downloaded, complete it before importing the new skills.
Manage Jobs
Import jobs
New jobs can be added. Loading is done by importing an Excel file. First retrieve the import template, complete it and then re-import it via the interface.
Download the new jobs import template
Open the administration page and click on Users in the left-hand menu.
Click on the Skills tab.
In the Job title box, click on the Download jobs button to open the template file generation page.
When the generation status changes to Successful, download the file by clicking the Download button.
The template file consists of the following columns:

When the import file is ready, go to the skills management page to proceed with the import. Once on this page:
Click on the Import jobs button.
Select the local file and confirm.
