User groups

Groups represent the company from different, independent points of view:

• Structures provide an overview of the company's various divisions.

• Establishments divide the company into its physical sites.

• Teams provide an overview of hierarchical relationships between users.

• Projects are used to group together all personnel in a cross-functional way, according to objectives.

• Jobs are used to organize staff according to the job of each individual.

• Domains are the only groups capable of containing other types of groups. They are used to configure the platform's layout and display.

Groups can be used to target the publication of training courses, generate global analyses and register users in training courses on a massive scale. The catalog visible to users in each group will then be different. However, it is still possible to create a global training catalog for all groups.

A user can be a member of one or more structure, facility, project, job and domain groups. However, they can only be members of a single team.

Groups of the same type are organized in a tree structure, so it is possible to assign them a parent group and one or more child groups. However, different types of group cannot be linked.

For example, a structure and a facility may have the same name, but remain two different groups.
