List users who are tutors

Open Administration > Repository > Tutors

Prerequisites

The tutor must have been previously created in the user directory.

Procedure

The Administrator can:

• See the list of tutors. Browse the list or use the available filters to shorten the list. This information is visible to each tutor:

  • the number of sessions conducted over the past 1 year,

  • the number of upcoming sessions.

• Add a tutor. Click on the Add a tutor button and select a user they want to add to the tutor database.

• Remove tutor role. Click on the kebab icon to the right of the information for a tutor and then select Remove tutor role.

Declare a learner as a tutor

It is possible for a learner to become an occasional tutor. The request is subject to the manager's approval.

Open the Directory

Procedure

1. Open the Profile page for the user you wish to declare as a tutor (covered by a role privilege).

2. Click on the Roles tab for the user.

3. Click on Add role and enter, for a given domain the role of tutor. You can also specify a start date and end date for this role.

4. Click on the icon Save.

5. On validation, the request is sent to the manager via a push notification for approval. The learner acquires the tutor role(s).

Validate tutor requests

The manager must validate learners' requests to become an occasional tutor.

Open My Team > Tutors

Procedure

1. Open the Tutor’s page to view a list of team members who are tutors (same screen as the Instructor repository screen).

2. Click on the Pending tab to view outstanding requests from learners.

   • The manager can validate or refuse the request (via the kebab menu): if they validate the request, the manager must complete other information: the training location (the employee's establishment), the validity period and the training courses they can facilitate.

   • On validation, the learner receives a push notification to inform them of the manager's decision (validation or refusal).

   • If the manager validates, the learner is added to the list of tutors that can be scheduled by the administrator.
