Training curriculum overview
Open Administration > Curriculum > Curriculum
A curriculum is a long training course consisting of Training and Evaluations. A course has a Back Office sheet similar to that of a training course, with a Front-Office and Back-Office publication. It is published in a Front-Office catalogue.
The sessions of a course are called Training paths.
Create a curriculum
Open Administration > Curriculum > Curriculum
A curriculum contains the same main information as a training course and/or evaluation: name, description, code, grouping code, language, training organisation, targeted jobs, conditions of access, a description of the programme and the training objectives. Only the Name property is required.
Procedure
Click the New button.
Fill in the information on the sheet of this curriculum including:

Catalogue curriculum privileges (back office)
Publishing a curriculum on the back office side allows a user to manage this course in the curriculum repository. This publication is possible on a domain, a group, a user.
Front Office
A curriculum is an item available in the catalogue. In order for the course to be visible on the catalogue side (front office), it must be published to certain groups of people. Therefore, we have a notion of publishing on the Front Office side that is possible on a domain, a group, a user.

Understand the concept of diagnosing a curriculum
Open Administration > Curriculum > Curriculum
Within a curriculum, we can point to an evaluation as a diagnosis. In this case, at the end of the evaluation, training will be recommended according to the results obtained and will be added to the curriculum.
Only one evaluation can be typed as a diagnosis within a curriculum.
When a user registers in a diagnostic path, the system automatically registers the user in the diagnostic evaluation AND in the Training/evaluation sessions that are not linked to the feedback from the diagnostic evaluation. Then, in the case of a learner carrying out their evaluation session (diagnostic type in a curriculum), they are automatically registeredin the training sessions and/or evaluations suggested and planned in the course of the course.
This automatic registration linked to the feedback of the evaluation will be done on the condition that the learner has not already been registered manually. Depending on the setting:
At the end of an evaluation (a diagnosis in a curriculum), if the learner is not available at the planning level, no registration for the suggested trainings/evaluations is made – no message indicates this to the learner.
At the end of an evaluation (diagnostic type in a curriculum), if the learner is not available at the planning level, the registration for the suggested trainings/evaluations is done – no message indicates this to the learner.
Understand the concept of a training path
Open the menu Administration > Curriculum > Training path
A curriculum is an unplanned element. In order to register people in a course, it is necessary to create a pathway, i.e. all the training and/or evaluation sessions that make up the course. The management of paths within a course is done in the Training paths page where the user can create, modify or delete a course.
Create a course sheet
Open Administration > Curriculum > Training path
A training path is similar to a training session.
Procedure
Click the New button.
Fill in the information on the route sheet:
The mandatory information is the name and the period during which the route is completed (start and end date).
Registrations section: information on registrations made in a course. When creating a course, these fields may already be filled in by the course data. This information is then used during registration.
Current number of registrants.
Profitability threshold: The number of registrations at which the course is profitable.
Capacity: maximum number of registrations on a course.
Price by user.
Price per training path.
Waiting trainee threshold.
Closing date for registration.
Method of registration: information about the visibility of the route to register. Registration can be done either on the back office side (Registrations tab) or on the front office side (from the catalogue) by a manager. By default, the registration mode when creating a course is in back office mode.
Administrative section: when creating a course, this field may already be filled in by the administrative manager of the course:
Administrative manager: designation of a person in charge, in order to manage the courses of the course in the best possible way (information for information purposes only). It is selected from the user repository.
Trainers
Plan a training path
Open Administration > Curriculum > Training path
A training path is similar to a training session. After the creation of a path, it is necessary to plan the training/evaluation sessions it contains in time.
Procedure
Select the course and then the course to be planned.
Click on the Planning tab. Possible actions:
Edit planning button: Allows you to change the schedule of an item – opens a schedule window. It is active when the user clicks an area of an item in the schedule.
Navigation buttons: these are the buttons for navigating the schedule, moving from one week to another.
Full view checkbox: the user has the ability to see all the elements – the path, the sessions, the sessions (face-to-face, virtual classes), and the resources (e-learning) associated with the sessions.
Select Date: Allows you to set the start of the schedule to the desired date.
Bulk Schedule button: this button allows you to schedule all e-learning elements in the same way (Dates, Instructors, Evaluators).
To schedule an item, the user has three options:
By clicking on the area of a session, the Edit Schedule button becomes active and the user can schedule it.
Double-clicking on the session area will automatically open the session schedule sheet.
By dragging and dropping the session area.
Additional Information
In this page, the user can see and plan all the elements of the path. The parent element is the time period over which the path takes place (in red). Under this element, we find each of the training or evaluation sessions associated with this course.
In this example, the path includes training and evaluation that is not planned (in blue and light orange above) and an evaluation. For each unplanned item, the session field is calculated based on the start date of the course and the expected duration of the training or evaluation.
When scheduling an item and in the event that there are registrations in the course, it is possible that the current user will not be able to schedule a session over a given period of time due to conflicts in the availability of one or more participants.
During a planning process, candidates who are shortlisted as potential trainers on a course are found on the course.
Planning a session naturally links it to the course. In the schedule, they can unfold a session in order to see the sessions related to the session in question (face-to-face, virtual classes) and the e-learning resources. It is possible to have visibility of all sessions with the Full View checkbox.
Scheduling a training session or evaluation allows you to create a session attached to the course (curriculum type). This connection is visible in the form of the training or evaluation session, a new field appears: Path associated with the link to the course.
Manage curriculum registrations
Open Administration > Curriculum > Training path
Now that the path is fully planned, the next step is to manage user registrations. This management is available in a Registrations tab. The way the page works is the same as in a session, we find the same actions.
Procedure
Select the course.
Click on the Training path tab.
Click on the Registration tab.
Click on the Register button.
Search for the user you want to register.
Select the user and click on Validate.
From the registration tab - depending on the roles - it is possible to:
Register users and/or groups.
Unsubscribe users and/or groups: these unsubscribed users and/or groups are blacklisted, in this case a link x unsubscribed members appears in the table header and opens the list of unsubscribed members.
Modify the registration dates for each registrant.
View the tracking of a selected user in the list.
View Folder: This button takes you to the Registrations page of the user selected in the table.
Change view on the page: list of all registrants or by group
Register with a file: Register existing users in the platform from a CSV file.
It is also possible to register users on the front office side from the catalogue (registrations by a manager).
Additional Information
Explanation of possible cases of registration:
When a user registers in a simple path without diagnostics, the system automatically registers the user in the scheduled training sessions/evaluations of the path. A user registered in a session through the path is clearly identified in the list of session registrants using the student icon.
When a user registers in a diagnostic path, the system automatically registers the user in the diagnostic evaluation AND in training/evaluations sessions that are not linked to the diagnostic evaluation's feedback.
In the case of an individual registration: in the event of a conflict or a capacity reached, depending on the configuration of your platform, it is possible that a registration is not made (the user is not registered and a message indicates this refusal) or that a purely invalid message indicates that the user is not available (the user is registered).
When registering a group: it works the same way as for a training session, the users of the group are registered by a group registration on the course, but also on the scheduled training/evaluation sessions.
When a group registers: in the event of a conflict or a capacity reached, and the total number of people in the group exceeds the limit, the entire registration is refused (depending on the configuration of the platform). An alert message is displayed: Not all registrations have been made, it is supplemented by information: The session has reached its maximum limit.
In the event of a deletion of a course registration, registrations for training/evaluation sessions are also deleted.
In the case of a re-registration for a course, the re-registration for training/evaluation sessions is also carried out.
In the case of registrations for a course via an import file, the registrations made are also made in cascade on the scheduled training/evaluation sessions of the course.
In the case of an incomplete course (incomplete planning – addition of trainings/evaluations, scheduling of sessions not completed, etc. ), it is possible to register employees in this course. When planning a training/evaluation session, these registrations are automatically taken into account on this new training/evaluation session.
Delete a training path
Open Administration > Curriculum > Training path
Procedure
Select the training path.
Click the Delete button.
Verification
A confirmation message appears on the screen.
Additional Information
When a course is deleted, all sessions, as well as all registrations related to that course, are deleted.
Sessions that are started are also deleted in this case.
In the case of a deleted training session, all registrations related to that session are also cascaded out. As a result, all registrations related to the sessions in the course are deleted.
