How Teams meetings work is closely linked to the Settings in the Teams admin center. This tool, which is fully managed by our customers' IT departments, can influence various features such as external participant access, screen sharing or file sharing.
Why is this important?
Inappropriate configurations can cause the Syfadis connector to malfunction.
Warning:
Security: Teams admin center settings have a direct impact on the security of your company's information system.
Complexity: The Teams admin center offers many configuration options. We cannot provide you with general recommendations, as the needs of each company are specific.

Key points to check in case of problems
The following sections detail some key settings that can impact the use of the Syfadis connector. Please do check out Microsoft's official documentation for a deeper understanding.
External participants access and waiting room management
Access to Teams meetings by participants outside of the organisations defined in the tenants can be found in the Meetings portion of the admin centre:
The Meeting policies page provides a lot of configuration flexibility, especially with regard to external participant access. Administrators can set custom rules to meet the specific needs of their organisation.
Important - the access rights and restrictions applied to external participants are entirely under the responsibility of the IT departments of each customer.
As a Teams admin, you can enable/disable these settings by being aware of possible security and privacy risks.
Screen sharing for external trainers
This action may or may not be possible depending on the rules applied by the customers' IT department, via the Teams admin centre.
On the same page as above, we find the part dedicated to screen sharing:
Access attendance reports
Access to attendance reports (for learner tracking) is also subject to some Teams admin centre configuration settings.
In the event of a malfunction in the recovery of attendance details, you must be vigilant about the elements highlighted on the screen below:
Note : Since Syfadis Xperience version 6.7.47, there are no longer errors when retrieving learners' attendance times.
Teams connector - some limitations
Due to Microsoft Graph API constraints, some features are not supported by our connector:
Room and Breakout room management: This feature is not supported by the Graph API.
File sharing: File sharing is not supported by the Graph API.
Whiteboard: Whiteboards are not integrated with the Graph API features.
Important: If you have any issues with access rights for these features, please contact your IT department. They will be able to check the settings of your Microsoft Teams environment and make any necessary changes.
